With over 100 years of experience in caring for children, we are committed to providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere that enables your child to feel safe and secure at all times.
Our dedicated staff focus on the individual needs of your child, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, because we understand that every child is unique. We want to equip them with the necessary tools to unlock their full potential. 2 - 6 YRS
We cater for children aged 2 to 6 years old.
LONG HOURS
We are open from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
ALL MEALS PROVIDED
We provide nutritious meals which are prepared on-site. All food is Halal.
MULTICULTURAL
We have educators that speak languages including Urdu, Turkish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Spanish, Hindi, Tagalog and Bahasa Malaysia.
INCLUSIVE PROGRAMS
We cater for children with additional needs and disabilities.
EVIDENCE BASED CURRICULUM
We encourage children to explore, learn and grow at their own pace.
About our centre
At Barnardos we never give up on children, because we believe in the potential of every child.
We offer educational support for children aged 2 – 6 years to help them get ready for school. Using play-based learning, we focus on social and cognitive skills, emotional development and communication. We also build strong connections with parents, because we believe it’s important to involve them in every step of their child’s early learning. We go the extra mile to help families in any way we can. We welcome children with additional needs, we help families access therapy and other services through our centre, and we help them with choosing the best school to enrol their child in.

As Program Manager at the Auburn Early Learning Centre, for the past 35 years, I’ve learnt that it’s important to listen to children. To nurture their uniqueness and encourage them to always question the world around them – because that’s how they learn. Working with children is so rewarding, and to know that I’ve impacted their lives, even in the smallest way, makes it all worth it.
I like to think that I lead the Early Learning team with enthusiasm and confidence. Our role is to be here for every child and to be here for each family. As a parent myself, I know how important it is to have a community of support. The saying it takes a village to raise a child? There’s definitely truth in it.
I’m so proud to work for an organisation like Barnardos, who believes in quality early childhood education. Not many charities have childcare centres attached, so it feels great knowing we have ample support and that we are listened to and respected.
It’s amazing to see the children we work with grow and achieve their independence. I’m inspired by their eagerness to learn and curiosity to explore the world around them. They remind me to pause and enjoy the little things in life.
