This year is the year to get inspired and make a family’s Christmas by supporting our Barnardos Gifts for Kids Appeal. Last year AE Smith Services Gifts for Kids virtual toy drive resulted in 58 toy donations, gifted to children like Kirra’s, and putting them at the top of the corporate Gifts for Kids campaign!.
Corporates are getting creative (see below) or competitive to make sure that even more vulnerable children and young adults are supported this year by encouraging employees, partners, customers and clients to jump on board and help them hit their Barnardos Gifts for Kids goal and maximise impact, through Barnardos program and Centre support!
A company match dollar value can be capped or reflect your Gifts for Kids donation goal. It’s a great way to encourage employees and customers to get into the Christmas spirit by getting involved in your campaign. We will provide you with your Barnardos Gifts for Kids partner logo to support external promotion and add your logo to the Gifts for Kids page on the Barnardos website – for additional brand association, that can be linked back to corporate responsibility pillars and goals.
Inviting employees, clients and associates to purchase a gift for a child that might not otherwise receive one and making a corporate donation of the same value to Barnardos, on their behalf means;
Double the Christmas spirit, double the feel-good factor.
And most importantly… double the impact!
To register your Gifts for Kids company match donation to Barnardos, email partnerships@barnardos.org.au with your company details, match pledge amount and your logo and we’ll announce it on our website in our Gifts for Kids sponsor page and share your Gifts for Kids appeal social media posts to increase awareness.

Flowers Across
During December 2023 Flowers Across complimented their Gifts for Kids appeal with a fundraising activation on their website.
Flowers Across got their customers involved by donating 10% of their True Delight Bouquet sales to Barnardos early intervention and prevention programs and promoted the Gifts for Kids appeal.
Shaw and Partners
Promoted their Gifts for Kids donation page, with an added incentive to match the $ value of toys donated through their virtual toy drive.
$4,573 worth of gifts were donated through their campaign page and the Shaw and Partners Foundation made a donation of the same value to the Barnardos early intervention and prevention programs.
We also invite your company to elevate your Gifts for Kids campaign with a matched corporate donation in support of children and families impacted by Domestic & Family Violence (DFV), in alignment with the 16 Days of Advocacy Against Gender Based Violence initative.
